Determining the Grade (at the End of Semester)

The grade achieved at the end of the course will describe your overall proficiency for all the units of study.  The letter grade will be a weighted average of your proficiency ratings for all of the learning goal standard that you have demonstrated over the year.

Learning goal standards are not graded in points, but rather in something called a proficiency score.
