CLASSROOM RULES - I have five classroom rules:
1. Follow all directions given to you.
2. Keep all talk gracious and professional. Maintain the open learning environment by talking respectfully with one another. Do not swear or degrade others.
3. Keep your hands on your own belongings. Wait for permission to handle classroom equipment.
4. Remain quiet and in your seat until you have permission to do otherwise.
5. Do your own work. Even when you work in groups, you have personal responsibility to own and make your learning happen.
Failure to follow these rules results in a verbal warning, temporary ejection from class, after-class discussion, parental contact, discipline referral.

PLAGIARISM IS A CRIME: Copying another’s work does not transfer their learning into your brain. Don’t Do it. Copying another student’s work results in your forfeiture of the learning goal proficiencies being assessed. You didn’t learn anything, you don’t earn anything. You will receive a 0 rating until you submit, in writing, an essay of the damages your actions have inflicted on you and others, per Mr. Dannug’s directions. Even if you work in groups in lab situations, you are expected to develop your own analyses and conclusions. There are no group grades for lab reports.
Unexcused absences: If you have an unexcused absence you will be given a ZERO for whatever work you miss that day.
Tardies: Will be enforced. Be here and in your seat when the bell rings to begin class.
At the end of the hour: Stay near your student desks. do not stand next to the door.
Eating in class is permitted, but anyone caught leaving their garbage behind will be required to clean the room the next day after class.
