Your Physics Portfolio
What is it?
Your physics portfolio is a record of what you have learned to do this year in physics 1. Throughout the year, you will be building up your portfolio as we learn about the various physics concepts.
By the end of each unit, you will add into your portfolio physics explanations of at least one problem that demonstrates all the skills you have learned in the unit. This explanation is more than just the mathematical solution. In this explanation, you demonstrate that you understand the concepts behind the math. You demonstrate that you know the concepts well enough to apply them and teach them to others.

How do you make it?
Near the end of the year, you will aggregate your portfolio drafts from your notebook into an online portfolio that you will share with your parents, teachers, friends, etc. You will use your Troyschools.org google Docs account to compose a multi-page document containing all your portfolio entries.
What will be in your physics portfolio?
This portfolio will include:
- one formal lab report from each quarter
